Mackenzie is in the marching band at the High School again this year and has been in band camp for the past two weeks. It has been fun to go over the the High School and watch the band practicing in the parking lot. Yesterday was their first performance as a new band. They marched in the parade in Monroe that kicks off the Evergreen State Fair. They won best band and best overall parade entry!
We had a lot of fun going to the parade. Here is a picture of Brooklyn with the
Seafair pirates. You make a pretty cute pirate Brooklyn!
Mackenzie looking so serious! She isn't supposed to crack a smile and was doing a pretty good job of staying focused
even though her Dad was running along side the band to snap some pictures!
It was a lot of fun to see Mackenzie in action! She looked so cute in her band uniform! We are looking forward to going to all the Cascade High School football games and competitions this fall to watch Mackenzie and the band perform. Congrats
Kenz for doing a fabulous job on your first marching band performances today! You were AWESOME! :-)
