We have had a fun day as a family celebrating Mackenzie's 16
th birthday.

It started bright and early this
morning at 5:30 a.m. before she headed off to seminary. I made her breakfast and then she opened up one of her presents.

The gift she wanted to open was from Grandma and Grandpa Smith. They gave her this cute plaid
bomber jacket. She was so excited and hasn't taken the coat off all day!

Tonight we had a family dinner with all her favorites.

One of the things that Mackenzie wanted for her birthday was a bow and arrow! Not quite sure why...but Steve had fun picking out a nice compound bow along with arrows and a target for her.

Steve set up a archery range in the garage and after only a couple shots Mackenzie nailed this arrow right close to the bulls eye!

For her birthday cake this year she requested homemade
german chocolate cake. Mackenzie had a fun day celebrating. We sure love you Mackenzie and are glad that YOU are a part of our family.
