Today is Mackenzie's 16
th Birthday!
We can't believe that it was 16 years ago today that this precious tiny little baby girl was placed in our arms. We were so excited to finally become parents. A lot of miracles and prayers were answered the day we got the phone call from our social worker telling us that our baby daughter had been born. She was actually due to arrive on Christmas day but came early! She only weighed 5 lbs. 13 oz. and was so very tiny. The above picture was taken when Mackenzie was about one month old.
This picture was taken when Mackenzie was about 8 months old. We had just finalized our adoption and had her sealed to us in the San Diego
LDS temple.

I will always remember driving down to LA with my Mom that December so I could meet and hold my new little cousin! I can't believe that was 16 years ago!! Happy Birthday Mackenzie...we love you!!!
Mackenzie was adorable baby, and your so blessed to have her as your daughter. She ROCKS!! They sure grow up fast though!
