Bridal Shower for Kiley

Last night we threw a bridal shower for one of our friends daughters - Kiley - that is getting married in a couple of weeks.
The shower planning started a few weeks ago when we got together to make the invitations for the shower. My talented friend Kim found a cute card that she wanted to do for the invite. She spent hours gathering supplies and cutting and then Sarah, Kim and I got together to put them together.
There were lots of layers and pieces that went into the card. Here I am placing the little pearls on the wedding bodice and black buttons on the tux shirt.
The finished card. Now isn't that the cutest card you have ever seen?
Another night we got together to make tissue paper flowers, a flag banner and to figure out what we wanted to serve for food. Here are Heidi and Heather making the flowers.
Here we are arranging the food on the table before it started.
Heidi bought this cute flower balloon and we put it outside near the porch. Everyone loved it. Mackenzie was such a great help at the shower. She answered the door, took coats and purses and helped with handing the wedding gifts to Kiley to open. And then displaying the opened gifts in the family room for everyone to see them. Thanks Kenz! We couldn't have done it without your help!
Here are the 5 shower planners with the cute Bride to be.
We had little goodie bags filled with white chocolate popcorn, cashews and valentine candy that Kim made to give to everyone that came as a favor. I made these little tags to hang on the bags.
One of the games we played was "The Price is Right" - Honeymoon version. It was fun to watch Kiley get embarrassed with some of the items we packed for her wedding night.
The amazing food table. We had a lots of yummy food.
Our friend Linda (the mother of the bride), Kiley (the bride to be) and Brooklyn.
Another game we played was guessing the ages of the bride and groom in the pictures. It was fun to see the pictures of them as they have grown up.

It was sure a fun evening and I think everyone that came had a great time. My favorite things were having a house full of good friends, yummy food, fun games and most of all planning the shower for Kiley with my 4 good friends. Kim, Sarah, Heather and Heidi...you ladies ROCK! Now...what should we do for our next adventure?
