Dad LeBaron's 80th Birthday!

Last week we decided to fly to Utah for Steve's dad's 80th birthday. You don't turn 80 years old every day and we thought this was quite the milestone in his life so we wanted to spend the day with him.
Sunday after church we hopped on an airplane and flew to Utah.
Look who came to welcome us at the airport!
Monday morning we got up and went over to mom and dad's apartment and had breakfast with them. Dad was so happy when he saw us.

We gave dad a new shirt for his birthday.

Dad was so happy that we came to celebrate with him.
 Steve with the birthday boy!
After lunch we took mom and dad on a drive over to Lehi to visit Cabella's. Dad used to love to go there when they lived in Highland. They have a fun shooting gallery so we had fun playing with the free tokens that dad got for us.
Mom was a trooper and even took a couple turns with the gun.
Papa and I taking a turn.
As we were walking out of Cabella's we ran into my nephew Brad who is going to school in Orem. Such a small world! So happy to see him. He's a great kid.
For lunch we went to Cafe Rio. Mom and dad wanted to treat us. It was so yummy.
After lunch we did a little shopping at my favorite store...ROD WORKS! I had 30 minutes to shop and I was in heaven! After shopping we took mom and dad to the movie. We saw "Saving Mr. Banks". They loved it and it was fun to treat them to a fun movie.
After the movie we went over to Scott and Cynthia's house for dinner. Cynthia made a yummy sweet and sour chicken recipe for us.

We enjoyed a fun evening talking, reminiscing and of course...eating CAKE! We love you dad. Happy 80th Birthday!
