Flooding

After all the snow we got over the holidays it warmed up and rained quite heavily for a couple of days. Not a drizzle rain like we are used to here. It poured down rain and very quickly...almost overnight all of our snow melted. All the rivers and lakes were filling so quickly everything started spilling over and there are floods everywhere. Down in the valley from us about 5 minutes away everything is still under water. We took a drive late Sunday afternoon to check it out and we were shocked! There is so much water down in the Snohomish valley it looks like an ocean for miles. It's unbelievable. Our heart goes out to those people who have lost their homes and farm lands to these floods.
