We got together for a family picture Sunday morning - wow, what a big family. We all had our yellow T-shirts on in memory of our 14-year old niece, Hailey, who passed away in December.

After family pictures we had a family testimony meeting Sunday afternoon. Steve and I started it off by sharing some thoughts about the importance of each member of the family and how that each of us is a link in our family chain.

Each of the members of the family were able to pick out a caribiner link and then we all connected together starting with Steve's parents on down to the youngest sibling and his family. We talked about the importance of each of us being a strong link in our family chain. It was neat to see us all linked together.

Steve and I prepared a craft activity that Mackenzie was in charge of teaching to all the kids. They each were given a small piece of hardboard that had a metal clip on the top of the board to hold the embroidery floss in place. We had a big plastic tote full of 150 different colors of embroidery floss for them to chose from. The clip held the floss in place as they braided their bracelets. The kids had a lot of fun with this activity. Thanks Mackenzie for doing such a great job teaching all the cousins how to do it. Even the boys got a kick out of this activity.

Monday morning we all gathered in the meadow for some Survivor games. Check out these strong Dad's carry kids on their backs!

Steve divided us up into 4 different teams. Before we came Steve made this cute Survivor logo and then ironed it on some material to make flags for each team. We tied the flags to long pieces of tree branches that we found around camp. Then each team came up with a team name and each member of that team signed their flag.

Another Survivor game!

After our Survivor games we headed to the lake to cool off. When Mackenzie went to Especially for Youth 3 years ago she met these two boys in this picture...Craig and Aaron. Mackenzie invited them to come up and spend a couple of days with us during the reunion. They are both from West Jordan, Utah and are really nice young men.

Tuesday morning a few of us drove to the Logan Temple (about an hour from Bear Lake) so that we could be with Kevin and Cheri as they performed some special ordinances for their daughter Hailey. It was a wonderful and uplifting experience - reminded us all of the importance of the family and our place as links in the family chain both here on earth and in the life hereafter.

Kevin and Cheri (Steve's sister) with us in front of the temple.

Tuesday afternoon Steve had a fun activity planned for the older kids...bow and arrow shooting. He brought a bunch of bows and arrows with us and the kids had fun shooting at the targets.

That evening before Craig and Aaron left to go home we took a group picture.

Tuesday evening we had our annual LeBaron Family talent show. It's always a big hit and the kids really look forward to this night. We had skits, songs, jokes etc. Here is a picture of Mackenzie and Brooklyn teaching everyone the "Bubble Gum" song!

Aunt Kristin taught the kids a really fun action song. It was hilarious.

At the end of our talent show we saw a huge owl fly into a tree right above the amphitheatre stage. It was so fun to sit and watch it. Great picture Steve!

Wednesday afternoon we ran into town for a famous Bear Lake raspberry milkshake. Yum!
Steve learning how to ride one of the cousins rip stick.

Wednesday after dinner we did a little line dancing in the circle driveway around our campsites. It was so much fun. Thanks Chad and Tina for bringing the music and speakers and for teaching us the steps! It was a lot of fun.

Steve and Chelsey doing the Virginia Wheel.

Steve couldn't find a partner for dancing so he danced with our dog Kia! Oh you crack me up Steve!

Steve loved holding our niece Adalee. What a cutie she is.

Thursday morning Steve, Jeff, Chad and Shane went golfing. They had a great time being out together.

The boys making styrofoam airplanes out of foam meat trays. Thanks Shane for the fun activity.

Thursday afternoon we went to the lake again. All the older kids got into a mud fight. Here is a picture of Brooklyn covered in mud! YUCK!

Who needs to go to an expensive spa and have a mud massage when you can do it for free yourself at Bear Lake?

Grandma LeBaron had a fun craft for all the kids. They made microwavable corn heating bags. First they filled bags that Grandma had sewn with corn and then they hand sewed them shut. Then they got to chose an outside bag that Grandma had sewn using really cute flannel material. Here is a picture of Brooklyn hand sewing the inside bag of corn. Thanks Grandma LeBaron for the awesome activity.

Thursday night Steve and I were in charge of dinner. We made Hawaiian haystacks and Dutch Oven corn bread. It tasted so yummy. Here is a picture of Kristin and myself serving up the rice and chicken gravy.

For dessert we made Dutch Oven brownies and served it up with ice cold milk. Shane liked eating the ooey-gooey-chewy brownies left on the tin foil!
We sure had a great time at the reunion. Thanks everyone for such a great time and for all the fun memories. We are already looking forward for the 2011 LeBaron Family reunion!
