Mackenzie Comes Home from BYU-Idaho for Spring Break!

Mackenzie  just completed her first semester of college at BYU-Idaho. She came home for a week in between semesters. We were so excited to see her again.

We picked her up at the airport last Saturday night.

She wanted to go right from the airport to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Brooklyn was so excited to have her sister home again.

It was so fun to have Mackenzie at church with us again.

One day while she was home she had an eye doctor, a dentist and a hair appointment! All in one day! Check out these groovy sunglasses she got at the eye doctor!

Mackenzie decided to chop her hair off while she was home! Here is a picture of her right after her hair appointment with her new hairdo.

This picture was taken the morning after her new hair cut. She did a great job styling it on her own for the first time. We think her new hair cut makes her look older. We did a lot of shopping and going out to lunch together while she was home and that was fun.
One night we went to Mackenzie's favorite Mexican restaurant.

 Oh how we missed this...

 It's a real treat to sit on the sofa in our living room and listen to Mackenzie sing and Brooklyn play the piano. We have two very talented daughters!

 While Mackenzie was home we had our annual Polar Dip. Here are all the brave polar dippers!

We had such a fun week with Mackenzie. It was hard dropping her off at the airport this afternoon so she could fly back to Rexburg.  But we are excited for the fun and exciting adventures she'll have this semester. We LOVE you Mackenzie Kay! Good luck with your 2nd semester in college. We're counting the days down until July 23rd when we can all be together again.
