Mormon Prom

Saturday night was Mormon Prom. Brooklyn had been looking forward to this since Hunter asked her back in February.
As is tradition, Saturday morning Steve took Brooklyn to get a manicure and pedicure. Lucky girl!
At noon 4 of the 5 couples came over to our house for their day date. They were going to go fly kites and have a picnic at Mukilteo beach but it was too cool and windy. So they decided to stay at our house instead. They threw out a bunch of blankets on the family room floor and had their picnic lunch there.
After lunch they played a bunch of games. Here they are playing Guesstures.
They had a lot of fun playing games and hanging out together.
At 3:00 p.m. the girls left to go get ready and the boys stayed downstairs and watched a movie together.

We took this picture with Brooklyn just as she was finishing getting ready.

Love the reflection in the mirror.
What a beautiful daughter Brooklyn is.
 Coursage and boutianeer time.
 Ahhh...so sweet.
Brooklyn and Hunter looked so cute together.
Hunter picked out a beautiful coursage that had 2 yellow roses to match Brooklyn's dress. Love the CTR cufflinks Hunter!
What a gorgeous looking couple. Hunter's vest and bow tie matched perfectly with Brooklyn's  dress.

We love taking pictures outside around the pool.

At 5:00 the 5 couples met at our house for group pictures before they went to dinner.
Another group picture.
The handsome guys.
The beautiful girls.
1, 2, 3...JUMP...
Leaving for dinner.
They went to Bucca de Beppo for dinner. It's a really fun Italian restaurant.
Hunter and Brooklyn at dinner.
After dinner they went to the mall and had fun taking pictures in Forever 21.
So classy girls!
Love those shades Autumn.
The guys looked like quite the models trying on the girl's sunglasses!
Who is this adorable couple on the escalator!
Steve and I were asked to help chaperon and to be in charge of running the water table at the dance. On our way over to Issaquah we stopped in Bellevue and had dinner at Daniels Broiler. Check out my prom date! Wow...am I a lucky girl or what?
At the dance.
The theme of the dance was "Treasure Island". They had this cute backdrop for pictures.
Group picture.
 Nice stashes Cynthia and Steve!
Brooklyn and Hunter danced non -stop from 9:00 till 11:00!
 Tired feet!
Here's a video clip that Steve put together
We had such an important job running the water table at the dance!! It was easy and allowed us to walk around and take pictures during the dance. We have been able to go for the past 3 years now to help out at the dance and it's a lot of fun.

Brooklyn looked so beautiful. Everyone thought she looked like Disney's "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast. She had such a fun day/evening spending it with Hunter and her friends.
